February 2018 Volunteer Quarterly Safety Meeting - Recognition, Photos & More!

Good morning to all IDI employees,

Just following up with everyone in regards to our February volunteer quarterly safety meeting in which we trained on fall protection. We had a total of 156 IDI employees in attendance including office personnel.  We want to thank each and every one of you who attended this safety meeting.  This shows your commitment towards the company, those working around you, towards yourself and your loved ones!  We appreciate you taking the time to invest in safety and with helping us to sustain our positive safety culture.  Also, at this meeting, we recognized our 2017 Field Safety Committee members that voluntarily served last year:  Nate Jensch, Sergio Murguia, James Seeberger, Bob (BVG) Van Garsse & Norbert Widrick.  Please thank these gentlemen for looking out for your best interest when it comes to your safety.  We recognized our 2017 Safety Advocates of the Year.  We have 20 names on the Safety Advocate of the Year banner that hangs from the rafters of our warehouse as these 20 Safety Advocates were elite in helping us to maintain our positive safety culture, injury prevention, hazard identification with prompt corrective measures.  The 2017 Safety Advocates of the Year are:  Jesse Aguirre, Dwayne Arneson, Dave Baker, Earl Bingman, Jason Brennan, Todd Consoer, Daniel Correa, Ron Doane, Angel Flores, Chris Frankowski, Ryan Johnson, Julian Nunez, Matt Paplawskas, Chuck Pedersen, Jose Plascencia, Kurt Pressney, Keith Rehn, Fernando Rodriguez, Dave Snedecor & Steve Yates.  Congratulations to all of you and thank you for all that you do!  When you sees that gentlemen, they should be thanked for their efforts as they are looking out for your safety.  Lastly, we want to thank our facilitators who help with the small group break-out sessions.  Thank you for caring about our employees safety and helping to ensure they can all go home at the end of the day to their loved ones!

All of you are our safety culture.  It is because of you and your safety efforts that makes us the industry leader in safety.  At our 2/17/18 quarterly safety meeting, we celebrated 1 year to date since our last lost-time injury.  This is quite an achievement.  If we can work a full year without a lost-time injury, there is absolutely no reason why we can't do 2 years.  Let's continue to look out for each other, help each other, have each other's backs when it comes to safety.  Let's continue to strive to live up to our Safety Mission Statement:  "Everyone Goes Home Alive and in the Same Condition as They Arrived; Your Loved Ones Count On It!"

Below are some photos from this safety meeting.
Have a Safe Day!
