Good morning to all I.D.I. employees,
As you all know, International Decorators provides volunteer quarterly safety meetings for all employees. We are now setting the Saturday dates of these safety training sessions in advance to help our employees be able to plan for them ahead of time.
The following are the dates of our next 6 meetings through the end of the 2018 year:
9/9/17, 12/2/17, 2/17/18, 5/5/18, 9/8/18 & 12/1/18.
All of the safety training meetings are scheduled to run from 7:00am to 9:00am. If for some unforeseen reason we have to change a safety meeting date or time, we will let you know in advance, however, we are planning to stick to these dates.
Also, in years past and in our current year, we have been holding a make-up safety meeting for those employees that could not attend our regularly scheduled Saturday volunteer quarterly safety meetings for any reason whatsoever. We are still going to hold a make-up safety meeting after our 9/9/17 volunteer quarterly safety meeting that all employees can attend if they are not attending the 9/9/17 safety meeting. However, moving forward, starting with the 12/2/17 volunteer quarterly safety meeting, we will host a make-up safety meeting only for those employees that worked for International Decorators on the Saturday of the regularly scheduled volunteer quarterly safety meeting.
One of the reasons for the change in the make-up safety meeting status is because we want to have all of our employees together, all receiving the same safety message. We know that having all of our field personnel and management together helps to get us all on the same page with safety, helps our overall safety culture and will help put us in a better position to be injury-free. The make-up meetings are not of the same quality as the regularly scheduled safety meetings. We only have partial management present at the make-up meetings and we know that more attendance at the Saturday safety meetings will benefit our employees even more.
We will be mailing a letter to each employee's home containing the above information so you can mark your calendars.
